Dave convinced Krista to let him put a garden in the northern yard in 2020. After the great toilet paper shortage, he realized how vulnerable our food chain is on the coast and thought having some home grown goods would be a great addition.
In 2020, we purchased some composted dirt that alleged to have loads of red worm, and casings. It certainly did, but it also had a considerable amount of construction debris, which was disappointing.
Sunflowers, Corn, and red cabbage did well in the garden. Strawberries, zucchini and cucumber failed. So Dave began making compost.
